Using the DVC Template in FrontPage
Below is an image of the DVC FrontPage template. The DVC template has what are called Shared Borders.What are Shared Borders?
Microsoft FrontPage allows you to use shared borders, a feature that automatically applies one or more
common border elements to all pages or to specific pages within your Web.
Shared borders are page regions (top, bottom, left, and right) used to hold content that you want to
appear consistently throughout pages in the current Web.
Having shared borders means that all the DVC instructor pages will have a uniform look and navigation.
Lets look at the parts of the template.

On
the left side of the template is the shared border. it operates as a
navigational element. In other words, you can use the shared border
as a place to put links to pages in your site.
You can set up these links to go to pages that you create. We will learn how to do this later in this tutorial.

On the right hand side of the template there is a table.
This table is where you will be putting the text, images and other elements for your site.
As you can see, the template the top cell of the table designated for a page title. The rest of the table is for the body of your materials.
DVC is using the font Verdana. 14 Point for titles, 10 point for text.
