The Fabulous World of FrontPage
FrontPage is used at DVC to create and maintain both
college and instructor websites. While the following tutorials
apply to both types of websites, the initial access procedure is different
(Voyager server for instructor sites and the DVC server for college sites).
- Style guidelines were established
for college websites (any website with www.dvc.edu) to maintain a common
appearance and assist users when working on webpages. To review a brief
example, please go to the Style Guidelines
Page.
- Department webpages must conform to
the established style guidelines, even though some of the functions covered
in the tutorials below reference design elements for faculty webpages.
- Faculty webpages located on the
Voyager site are not required to adhere to the DVC style guidelines.
The following tutorials cover most basic
procedures that an individual would use when constructing a site. If
you do not find what you need here, please contact Neal Skapura
at nskapura@dvc.edu or ext. 2878 or
consider a Google
search for your question.
