This FINAL Self Evaluation Report of Educational Quality and Institutional Effectiveness represents the college’s view of itself in comparison to the accreditation standards, eligibility requirements and select policies of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). In addition, this report addresses all of the recommendations that DVC and the District received as a result of the most recent Self Study Report (2008).
There are two versions of the report on this website. The full report* can be found by clicking on this link – SelfEval_FINAL.
An Executive Summary of the report can be found by clicking on this link – ExecSum_FINAL.
You are encouraged to read the full report or at the very least to read those sections that relate to your responsibilities at the college. A limited number of hard copies of the report will be available for review by August 1, 2014. Hard copies will be located in the library, professional development lounge, Instructional Division Offices, Student Services Program/Department Offices, Buildings and Grounds Office, Custodial Manager’s Office, Instruction Office, President’s Office, San Ramon Campus, Academic Senate Office, Classified Senate Office, ASDVC Office and other select locations.
As you know, an External Evaluation Team comprised of administrators and faculty from other colleges and representing the ACCJC will be on campus October 6-9, 2014 to verify that the information in the report is accurate and that DVC does, indeed, meet the Standards, Eligibility Requirements, and select policies of the ACCJC.
Thank you to everyone involved in the preparation of this report.
