Get through your math requirements faster with STATWAY.

  • CSU and UC transfer students majoring in Liberal Arts, Fine Arts or Humanities majors can complete the math requirements in one academic year fall 2017- spring 2018 by taking STATWAY
  • Do you plan on transferring to a CSU or UC campus?
  • Are you a liberal arts, fine arts or humanities major?
  • Have you assessed higher than or passed pre-algebra (math 75)?

If you can answer yes to all these questions, STATWAY may be right for you!

What is STATWAY?
STATWAY is a two semester, 8 unit alternative to the traditional three semester, 14 unit sequence normally required to complete Elementary Statistics. 

STATWAY students engage in classroom activities that introduce statistical concepts and skills. Students learn the required mathematical ideas and skills in the context of learning statistics.

  • Area C: Mathematics Comprehension

STATWAY 2 (MATH-144) will be offered in spring 2018.
You must successfully complete STATWAY 1 before you can register for STATWAY 2.
