Assessment Center In order to complete the assessment test during the times/days listed, you must have each of the following: A Diablo Valley College application on file with the Admissions Office. Your social security number or your DVC student ID number. You must show a form of Photo Identification i.e. Drivers License or Student ID to take the test. Tests will not be processed without the above information. There is no fee for the assessment.
	The DVC Assessment Center offers the following assessment tests, which are used to determine a student's placement in ESL, English, Math, and Chemistry. CELSA (Students may take the CELSA ONCE PER SEMESTER) English (Students may take the English Assessment TWICE PER SEMESTER) Math (Students may take each level of the Math Assessment ONCE PER YEAR) Chemistry (Students may take the Chemistry Assessment ONCE PER SEMESTER) Once you complete the exam, scores will be available in 5-7 business days. If you do not wish to return to campus you may view your assessment score on our student information system (WebAdvisor). Test Scores Check your scores online using WebAdvisor From the DVC homepage click on “WebAdvisor” (located on the left side of the page) Log into WebAdvisor as a ‘current student’ with your User ID and password. Click on “Test Summary” (located under the “Academic Profile” category). Bring photo ID in for a print out Transferring to another school? To have scores sent to another school, fill out the DVC Information Release Form. This sheet may be sent in, faxed in or brought into the Assessment Center. Scores will be forwarded within 48 hours. This test is not required for all students. The ATB should only be completed at the request of the Financial Aid Office. If you are referred to the Assessment Center to take the ATB test, please call our office to verify hours and availability. Upon completion of the ATB, results are mailed out to be scored and will take 7 to 10 business days. Results are sent directly to the Financial Aid Office. Distance Education Proctoring: We offer paper based Distance Learning Proctored Exams to DVC and Non DVC Students. Please contact your school regarding the exam being sent. Call our office to confirm receipt of your exam and to set up an appointment. Your school will provide specific information regarding testing instructions as well as deadline dates. The cost is $20 per hour payable by cash or check. Please bring photo identification on the day of your test. On-Campus Parking: To avoid a parking citation, please park in designated student parking areas in lots 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.  Be sure you properly display a current semester or daily permit.  Daily permits may be purchased at any of the dispensers in the parking lot and the cost is eight quarters.  Or you can purchase a semester permit and the cost is $35 at the Admissions Office or Bookstore.
