Get college units for work
Are you currently working or assisting a teacher on campus? Did you know that you can receive college units for that work? Well then you've come to the right place!
There are two different classes offered through the Career & Employment Center that offer college units for your work experience. One class, Cooperative Work Experience, or Co-op for short, is a course available to students who are currently working, volunteering or interning. For more information and course requirements, check out the CO-OP page.
The second program, Field Studies, is a program offered to students who want to serve as a Teacher's Assistant (T.A.), Lab Assistant (L.A.) or Research Assistant (R.A.) on campus. Interested in becoming a T.A., L.A., or R.A.? Meet with your professor and see if they are interested in working with you. If they are, then come to the Career & Employment Center to pick up your application. For more information and course requirements, check out the Field Studies page.
