Men's Basketball [View Stats] 2008 Review The 2008-2009 Vikings look to win their 6th straight conference championship and 15th consecutive 20-win season. Point Guard Gary Pinkney and Forward Anthony Turner join reserve Tony Rushing as the three returners from last season. Coming off redshirt seasons last year are forward Murkice Carter and center T.J. Banks. The Viking's roster is bolstered by the addition of former Acalanes star, Jordan Fillmore, who transferred after a redshirt year at Cal. The 2008-09 Viking Men's Basketball team matriculated five sophomores on to the four-year level. Brandon Adams moved on to the University of Hawaii after being named the Big 8's MVP. Adams also earned a spot on the All-State team. Antonio Flaggs was selected the 2007-08 team MVP along with first team All Big 8 honors. Flaggs is now playing at Sacramento State. Ronald White earned a scholarship to the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Brandon Slabach is on scholarship at Western State in Colorado and Dwight Wilson is playing at York College in Nebraska.
