The voyage through education can be both challenging and expensive. The DVC Foundation is proud to provide financial support to DVC that ensures that educational opportunities are available for everyone in our community.
As a partner with the DVC Foundation you provide critically needed funding and volunteer support that make DVC a safe harbor for students as they sail into their future.
There are many ways to make a meaningful impact:
MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION
- Become a financial donor to DVC
Contributions of any size are welcome at the DVC Foundation. We hope you'll consider a heart-felt gift that will have impact on our students, programs, faculty/staff and facilities.
- Become a member of the President's Circle
We hope you'll consider an unrestricted annual contribution of $1,000 or more. Funds are applied where need is greatest on campus, as determined by the Foundation Board of Directors and DVC President.
- Contribute to the student scholarship fund
The Foundation awards over $300,000 annually in student scholarships. The need far outweighs the available funding! We currently fund only 15% of all scholarship applicants due to lack of funding. Your contribution will be used to directly benefit entering, continuing and transferring students through scholarships awarded each spring.
- Become a member of the Viking Society
Make a lasting impact on generations to come! You may select DVC as a beneficiary of your planned giving. Society gifts include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, IRA distributions, real estate and more.
