  • Career Counseling - Assistance in defining career objectives, goals, and/or planning.

  • Career Development Classes and Workshops - Routinely offered.

  • Career Information Sheets - Information on various career fields.

  • Career Library - A comprehensive career library of different occupational areas that contains relevant books, periodicals, directories, and magazines.

  • Career Videos - Online videos available for exploration (closed-captioned).

  • Career Web Sites - Access to job sites, online career assessments and labor market trends.

  • Access to ten computers with Internet connections and Eureka software that provides information on career fields, requirements, opportunities, and salaries.

    • DVC offers over 50 certificate and degree programs that prepare students with the career/technical skills needed for success in a specific occupation.
    • Courses are offered at DVC’s Pleasant Hill campus, San Ramon Valley campus, CSU East Bay's Contra Costa campus in Concord and at various other locations.
