Allison GargalikisThe California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) has named Allison Gargalikis, a sophomore at Diablo Valley College, as its April Female Athlete of the Month.

A Viking athlete in swimming, Allison recorded three individual titles at the 2014 CCCAA Swim and Dive State Championships at East Los Angeles College, and was part of two relay state championships for DVC. In addition, each of those five winning races set new state records.

Allison had standout performances at the State Championship meet. She was part of the state-winning 400-yard medley relay team (3:48:45), which also broke the state meet record by 4.31 seconds.
