Dental Hygiene Teaching Clinic
Located in the LHS building, the Teaching Clinic offers periodic free screenings to identify new teaching patients. The screenings take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Your teeth will be evaluated for build up of plaque and calculus. This is a good way to get a general idea of what is going on around your teeth and gums, however it does not take the place of a comprehensive dental exam with your dentist. If you qualify, you can apply to be a teaching patient for low cost x-rays and cleanings (requires multiple 3 hour visits).
The DVC Dental Hygiene Teaching* Clinic offers low cost, high quality dental cleanings.
Services include the following:
| Teeth Cleanings for Adults | $25* | |
| Teeth Cleanings for Children | $10 | |
| Deep Root Cleanings | $25 - 55* | |
| X-rays | $5 - 25 | |
| Whitening (for those who qualify) | $99 | |
| Sealants | $5 per tooth | |
| Fluoride Treatments | $FREE w/cleaning | |
| *Patients must be willing to sit in the clinic classroom for multiple 3 hour sessions | ||
