Year Up Bay Area

What is Year Up?

Year Up is an intensive, one-year technology-training program for Diablo Valley College students that combines hands-on skill development with professional internships at some of the Bay Area’s top companies. While earning 32 credits during the program, you will be on career tracks in Information Technology or Project Management. During the first term of the program, you will register and take courses with your Year Up Learning Community. In your second term, you will spend approximately 35 hours/week at a professional internship at one of Year Up’s 50+ corporate partners – organizations like Salesforce, Twitter, GE Digital, Workday, and Bank of the West.
