Developed animal models including genetically altered obese hamsters and rabbits for
the study of atherosclerosis.
Characterized biological aspects of cholesterol absorption, lipoprotein metabolism and cholesteryl ester exchange among plasma lipoproteins in rodents and non-human primates in order to identify and characterize hypolipidemic agents.
