Courses are offered at our Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Concord Walnut Creek, Danville, and Martinez sites. DVC evening and weekend programs: Many full-term and short-term courses are available in the evenings, on Saturdays, and on the weekends offering students flexibility in their scheduling. Students can earn an A.A. degree or satisfy general education transfer requirements to UC and CSU by attending only evening and weekend classes. Students can also complete the requirements for more than thirty certificates of achievement at night. See the Schedule of Courses for a listing of the occupational programs, which may be completed during evenings and/or weekends. Courses are offered at our Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Concord Walnut Creek, Danville, and Martinez sites. DVC summer programs: Full- and short-term courses are available during the day and evening, offering students the opportunity to complete a course for a full term's credit in just four, six, or eight weeks. Courses are offered at our Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Concord Walnut Creek, Danville, and Martinez sites. Community service: Our community services program offers fee-based, not-for-credit courses, seminars and short-term classes to answer our community's educational, cultural, social, and recreational needs and interests. For a fee, community members may attend topical seminars and classes designed to enhance the process of lifelong learning. Brochures listing our community service offerings are published through the Economic Development Office. Contract education: This self-funded program is DVC's answer to our local business community's need for employee training. Through these types of programs we offer local employers training/instruction within their required time frames at either their work site or our campus. The contracting agency may choose from our credit curriculum or request customized not-for-credit programs that meet their specific needs.
