No Kidding! Diablo Valley College's Emeritus College offers not-for-credit courses and lectures at a reasonable fee. There are no homework assignments, no exams, no long term commitments. It really is learning for the fun of it. All that is required is a desire to learn. If you are looking for educational enrichment and intellectual stimulus, Emeritus College at Diablo Valley College is for you. Classes are held at a location near you: DVC Pleasant Hill, DVC San Ramon, Concord Senior Center, Lafayette Community Center, Moraga Hacienda de Las Flors, Lindsay Wildlife Museum, Rossmoor, St. Mary's College, Bedford Gallery, and CSU East Bay campus. ClassesBecause classes are not-for credit, expensive textbooks, papers and tests are not required; the only requirement is a desire to learn in a comfortable environment. Classes are offered in a variety of subjects including: history, music, foreign languages, literature, computer, health, art, cooking, travel and natural history. Classes are dynamic and always planned around student interests.
Instructors Membership
Membership will run for one-year from the date you join ( Ex: July 1 one year to June 30 the following year). That means if you join in January, your membership will run until the following January. Lifetime MembershipEmeritus College is now offering a lifetime membership for $150 per individual or $200 per couple. This is a good way to show your support of Emeritus College and to assure you will always receive notices of Emeritus Activities. Lifetime membership also assures you will pay less for classes and monthly lectures are free. Why not join today?
