The "drop-in sessions" ( last about 15 minutes) counselors will not have access to transcripts or be able to write an education plan. If you plan to come in the afternoon, call our office before you leave work/home to find out the waiting time.
Schedule your appointment in-person, or by calling our office 925-969-2140. During Spring and Fall semesters, students who have not attended other colleges may also schedule through ESARS (online appointment program).
We will begin to schedule Spring 2018 appointments on January 16 for the week of January 29.
DVC accepts transcripts from institutions (e.g., colleges, universities, and high schools) currently recognized by regional accrediting organizations as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
DVC now has a program in connection with JFK University's Graduate Counseling program. DVC has JFK Interns on campus; Tuesday and Wednesday who are available to do brief therapy. The JFK Interns are supervised by a licensed professional through JFK University. For more information, please call 925-969-2148.
