What is a Majors Expo?

It is a one day event that highlights some of the majors, major-related student clubs, and services offered at DVC.

Why should I go to a Majors Expo?

If you are unsure or undecided about your major, this event is a great way to learn more about your options.
If you are clear about your declared major, the expo is an opportunity to learn about specializations within the major, career options related to the major, and transfer pathways.

What type of information will be available at the Majors Expo?

DVC professors will be available to talk to you about the major, recommended introductory classes to test out the major, and some professors will share their own personal story about how they chose their college majors. Student clubs will share information about their major-related organizations. Student Services will offer internship and scholarship information, resources, and services to help you discover, explore, and decide on your program of study.
