Ryan Byrne
In his first season as the Offensive Coordinator for DVC football, Coach Byrne led the Vikings to a record setting year averaging over 420 yards of offense per game, including 120 rushing yards per game and over 300 passing yards per game. Coach Byrne's experience in putting up big numbers on offense is extensive. In his six seasons, Coach Byrne's offense has averaged over 30 points per game, 450 yards of total offense, and has produced the statistical leaders in receiving and passing every season.

As a player, Byrne played quarterback at Santa Rosa Junior College where he was All-Conference and the team's MVP. Byrne then finished out his collegiate career at Florida A&M University. After finishing his Bachelor's degree at UC Davis, Byrne went on to receive his Master's Degree from UC Berkeley in Education within the "Athletes and Academic Achievement" program. In addition to his duties as Offensive Coordinator, Byrne also teaches in the Summer Bridge program at UC Berkeley. Coach Byrne is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field and is dedicated to helping student-athletes reach their goals.
