In 2009 the Vikings was the meet host for the NorCal Regional Trials and Finals on May 1st and May 8th on their new Rekortan 400 meter track and field facility. The centrally located campus made this site an attractive one, especially with a new facility!
The Regional Trials, May 1, will saw 24 teams from throughout Northern California vie for spots into the Regional Finals which will took place the following week on the same track on May 8th. The Northern California Regional Finals Meet was the final proving ground for teams and individuals as they competed for the right to participate in the State Championships.
Diablo Valley College was proud to host this year's Northern California Regional Championship Series event.
