2013 PREVIEW

After a nine year absents, Coach Ponciano-Babb welcomes back Ruthie Ignacio as her first assistant coach.  With the departure of Lisa Bachtold who is now a special education teacher at Monte Vista High School, Coach Ponciano-Babb is excited for the new season.  “Lisa did a great job last year for us and the athlete’s responded to her with great enthusiasm.  We will miss her but wish her only the best in her new career.”  Coach Ruthie will step back into her role of assistant coach and continue sharing her great volleyball experience as though she never left.

Have a sophomore heavy team last year Coach Ponciano-Babb hopes that her team will come together quickly to show their volleyball knowledge and competitiveness rather than their youth.  It’s always a challenge at our level but more so when competing in the Big 8 Conference.  With the student-athletes we have, we look forward to doing our best and providing them with a fun volleyball experience.
