This is the official website for Diablo Valley College Viking Athletics.

Diablo Valley College Softball strives to emphasize the positive impact sports has on Women's lives.  In addition to teaching and reinforcing fundamental skills, we foster core values of commitment, work ethic, respect, follow-thru and a team-first mentality.  These skills carry over into every area of life and make our team unique and supportive of each individual.  DVC Softball is a part of the Big 8 Conference, one of the most competitive in the nation.  It is our goal to provide each student-athlete with the opportunity to transfer and continue to play at the next level.

2014 Season Preview

The Women’s Softball team for Diablo Valley College is enjoying their new softball field that is bigger and better equipped. Throughout this season Head Coach Angie Goularte is looking forward to making sure these student athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the field. She has been a role model and motivator for the team. Heater Pinkston, a sophomore outfielder has taken on an additional leadership role by filling in at catcher this season. Coach Goularte has some experienced secondary coaches working with her this season such as assistant coach Dennis Luquet, strength and conditioning coach Marcus Maxwell, catching and hitting coach Craig Chapman.  With a new field, teamwork, and built up momentum from such excellent coaches this seasons softball team is off to a great start.

Key Newcomers: Amber Golini (shortstop), Carrie Lee (Pitcher)
