DVC offers more than 40 A.A. and A.S. degrees, more than 40 certificates of accomplishment, and a wide selection of certificates of achievement to get you ready to transfer to a four-year college or land a great job. See all of our Degrees and Certificates

If you want to take a class that has a prerequisite requirement you may need to fill out the prerequisite equivalency form. Visit the Counseling Center for assistance.

Online registration by appointment for:

  • continuing students in good academic standing
  • new students who have completed online orientation, assessment and educational planning/Couns 095. (matriculated)
  • returning students 
  • continuing and returning students on probation two or more consecutive semesters or on dismissal status
  • students who completed 100 or more degree applicable units at DVC, LMC, or CCC.
  • new students who have not completed online orientation, assessment and educational planning/Couns 095  (non-matriculated)
  • new and returning special admit/concurrent high school students registration 
 grades 11 and 12.
August 1 Open walk-in registration for all students 
August 11 Semester begins - check specific class listings for Saturday and Sunday classes. Start dates may vary.
August 11-25 Late enrollment - space available basis. Register online with late add code or register in-person with signature of instructor or late add code*


Online registration is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Students may register anytime on or after their appointment date and time up until midnight the day before the class section begins.
  • Registration for classes after the course begins is on a space-available basis and will require a late add code or instructor signature.
  • Students may use a late add code to register online.
  • Student with an instructor signature must register at the admissions counter.
