Important dates for new students this Fall at DVC

May 27 Online registration by appointment begins for:

  • continuing students on probation two or more consecutive semesters
  • returning students on probation two or more consecutive semesters
  • students who completed 100 or more degree applicable units at DVC, LMC, or CCC.
  • Continuing and returning students on dismissal status

July 1 Online registration begins for new non-matriculated students

August 1 Graduation filing period begins for spring 2015 graduates to be considered for the early registration option. For more information on criteria: (filing period ends September 15)

August 6 Open/walk-in registration for all students (except special admit/concurrent high school students).

August 7 Begin new and returning special admit/concurrent high school students registration grades 11 and 12

August 15 Classes begin

Registration for classes after the course begins is on a space-available basis and will require a late add code or instructor signature. Students may use a late add code to register online. Students must register at the admissions counter with an instructor signature.


Online registration is available daily up to midnight the day before the class section begins.


* Online registration is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students may register anytime on or after their appointment date and time up until midnight the day before the class section begins. ** Short-term class add/drop dates, refund dates and pass/no-pass dates are calculated individually by class based on the specific number of meeting days; therefore, these dates are not included in this calendar. Add/drop and refund dates are printed on the class roster. Check with the instructor. You may also go to Insite/WebAdvisor, Registration, to My Class Schedule for drop and refund dates. The dates are listed under the Last Date to Drop column.
