Minimum requirements: (Click here for Health plan directions)
All International students will be paying the semester premium for mandatory insurance through the registration system. This insurance will be serviced by Wells Fargo of California Insurance Services, Inc. Please look at the insurance brochure included in your admit packet. Continuing students are familiar with this program. The insurance premium will be charged automatically and separately each semester at the time of registration (you do not need to submit enrollment form).

NOTE: Medical Insurance Premiums are subject to change for the fall/spring semesters!! Please check with the International Students Admissions and Services (ISAS) Office for updated premium fees and the new insurance brochures upon your arrival to DVC!
Mandatory medical insurance minimum requirements are as follows:
Medical benefits, a minimum of $50,000 U.S. dollars per accident or injury.
Rescuers insurance minimum limit is $10,000 U.S. dollars.
Repatriation/Reunification minimum limit is $7,500 U.S. dollars.
If you feel you have comparable insurance that meets the minimum requirements, you can come to the International Students Admissions and Services (ISAS) office to request a refund.
You must request this refund within 30 days of the first day of class.
You will be required to complete a refund request.
No refunds will be given after 30 days.
Please bring your insurance policy or certificate to the ISAS office when you request the refund. Your policy or certificate must include the following information:
Policy number, insurance company.
Effective date, expiration date.
Limits and coverage necessary to meet the minimums.
If you are a continuing student, have already provided insurance information and have completed a waiver of insurance you must still complete a refund request to receive a refund. Documentation on file must still be verified by semester.
