Online Community Resources

Since you are now entering the exciting world of distance learning, you'll be glad to know that there's a mailing list of online instructors at DVC. You'll find this mailing list to be extremely helpful. We share ideas, ask and answer questions, brainstorm, and communicate about anything that has to do with distance learning. Please consider joining this mailing list as soon as possible to become a member of this group.

Here are the instructions to join:

1. Go to http://barter.dvc.edu/cgi-bin/lyris.pl

2. Click on the "Online Courses" link.

3. Click on the "online" link.

4. Click the "Join online" button.

5. Type in your e-mail address (required) and full name (optional but highly recommended). You can also select your preferences for other options.

6. When done, click "Save" button.

That's it! You'll now be a member of the DVC Online Instructors Mailing List!

Once you're a member you can send a message to all member through the following e-mail address:  online@barter.dvc.edu.

Be sure to add this address to your address book!
