The DVC Library has a collection of
approximately 90,000 books, 2500 ebooks, 400 periodical subscriptions, and
20 electronic databases that index and provide full-text articles from over 5000
journal titles. The Library

Magazines and Newspapers
The Library has subscriptions to

Periodicals Desk provide assistance in
locating magazine and newspaper issues and in use of the microform
reader-printers. ALICE includes records for all the periodicals in the
Library. Print and online
indexes, located in the Reference Area, help you find magazine and
newspaper articles on particular subjects.

selected by faculty for required reading, copies are collected and
placed "on reserve" at the Circulation and Reserve Desk. Materials on
Reserve are listed in the online catalog, ALICE. The books are checked out for a limited
time period determined by the instructor.
