SRC Learning Commons

The SRC Learning Commons, on the first floor of the west wing of the college, is an extension of resources available to SRC students in the Dougherty Station Library across the quad from the college.   This is especially useful when the library is closed or when additional study or computer space is needed.

A Librarian in on-site in the Learning Commons on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the school year.  Additionally, if students or faculty require assistance during the week, they are encouraged to visit the Dougherty Station Library or call Mark Fink at 973-3387.

The Learning Commons provides places for

Ø      Individual and group study,
Ø      Tutoring,
Ø      Computer use,
Ø      Contacting a DVC reference librarian for help with research,
Ø      Viewing of the videos and DVD’s available from the library,
Ø      Accessing the  SRVC Bookstore
Ø      Purchasing and enjoying snacks and beverages
