The DVC Math Lab Math Lab Location and Hours The Math Lab is located in the Learning Center building, second floor, at DVC. We are open M-Th 8:00 am until 9:50 pm; Friday 8:00 am until 3:50 pm; and weekends (other than holidays) noon until 4:50 pm. The phone number is +1 (925) 685-1230 ext. 2263. Services Offered We provide tutoring for all Mathematics classes offered at DVC, from math 65 up to Math 294. Since students in classes up to Math 135 are required to attend the math lab, they receive preference; but at most times of the semester, at most times of day, the wait isn't too bad. We have IBM and Macintosh PCs available in the open lab area and (when not reserved for a class) in two computer rooms. There is mathematics and other software available for student use - students using mathematics software have preference. |
