In addition to being a media staff workroom for captioning, disc repair, and format transfer, the DIGITAL MEDIA STUDIO provides facilities and support for faculty/staff to create digital media including digital audio, digital video, streaming audio/video, graphics and presentations. These files can then be made accessible in static or streaming format on the Internet. This technology is ideal for Online courses, Web CT, enhanced curricular resources, training materials, and presentation materials. The SELF-USE STUDIO (ATC-107) is a Smart Classroom additionally equipped with a remotely operated camera, along with a lavalier microphone and capturing and editing software. It allows faculty and staff, with minimal training, to record and create streaming or downloadable lecture content.
