Can’t get into the classes you want?
We understand how frustrated you must feel if you can’t get the class(es) you need. We want to offer enough classes to meet the demand, but the state will not provide the funding we need. Please understand how frustrating it is for us to be forced to limit our offerings at a time when a record number of students are seeking a college education.
We will continue to fight for our students’ rights to a higher education, but it will be much more effective with your help. If all students who have been hurt by these budget decisions make their voices heard, we believe it will make a difference.
Please call, write or email your local and state representatives and tell them your personal story about how this devastating budget decision has negatively affected your progress toward meeting your personal educational goals. They will listen to you!
The state decision makers need to understand on a more personal level what a tremendous asset our community college system is to the future economic health of our state. The stories need to be told through student voices.
