I want to help my students as much as possible. I am not only a physicist but also a philosopher, poet, and wildlife photographer. My particular interest in physics is quantum mechanics and its relationship with thinking. Contrary to common beliefs, art and science can and should go very well together. Experience:
I have been teaching physics, mathematics, philosophy all over the world. At DVC I have been teaching since 1985. I was Faculty Senate President from 1992 to 1996.

Education:
I received my high-school education in Germany, received my bachelor's degree at the Sorbonne, my Masters and PhD at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. I specialized in relativistic, quantum field theory.
