DVC faculty and staff members are welcome to request and maintain their own bio page. The faculty/staff directory already contains basic contact information, including email, office, and phone. But for more detailed information, such as education, courses, and office hours, instructors are encouraged to have a bio page.
Bio pages contain three items in their content area: (1) contact information extracted from DVC's "active directory", (2) a photo taken by the Marketing staff, and (3) a free-form editable area for the instructor or staff person. Additional pages can be included.
To view a bio page, go to a Faculty/staff directory and click on the name of any person. In the popup, if a bio page link is listed, use that link to see that person's bio page. (If there is no link, then there is no bio page for that person.)
Any DVC faculty or staff member can apply for their own bio page. To do so, visit the Faculty/staff directory listing in the Faculty/staff area of this website. Use the link to the bio page request form.
To change contact information, use the update request form link in the Faculty/staff directory listing in the Faculty/staff area of this website.
Note that bio pages are not intended to be used for course management -- for that we have WebCT and Voyager.
