CTE programs masthead

What can I do with an administration of justice certificate/degree?

After a student has earned a degree/certificate of achievement in administration of justice, he or she should be well prepared to enter and successfully complete an academy program or go directly into entry-level employment as a civilian.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, salaries range from approximately $45,000 to $80,000 or more in law enforcement; $35,000 to $65,000 or more in corrections, $35,000 to $70,000 or more in probation and parole and up to $105,000 or more in the judicial system.

Direct expenditure for each of the major criminal justice functions (police, corrections, judicial) has been increasing. This means more jobs and better paying jobs.

When are classes offered?

Most courses are taught in the day, but some evening and weekend courses are also available.

How long will it take to earn a certificate/degree?

Generally, students take two years to complete the A.S. degree and all the courses required for the certificate/major.
