We offer evening classes for those interested in studying real estate in order to become a better-informed consumer, an investor, or a professional in the field.
To earn a certificate of achievement, students must complete each course used to meet a certificate requirement with a "C" grade or better. All required courses are available in the evening.

Certificate of achievement in Real Estate (DataTel code CA.REAL.D)
The program provides students with skills and appreciation for the practice of real estate, financing alternatives, and real estate development issues affecting business decisions.
SLO#1. explain the functions of real estate markets, real estate practices, and real estate institutions, and recommend choices for common real estate situations.
SLO#2. demonstrate how to calculate the time value of money and evaluate various financing alternatives for real estate investment strategies.
SLO#3. evaluate real estate development opportunities in the commercial real estate markets for residential, warehouse, retail, and industrial properties.
SLO#4. research and analyze specific case problems related to real estate investment and present solutions.
