This is NOT Comsc-100L -- that is a separate course. This is about the lab hour for Comsc-100 for working on lab assignments in a supervised computer lab.
Comsc-100 includes what is called "lab by arrangement". It is a "floating" lab hour that students must attend during the week. The times that the lab is available for "lab by arrangment" is not always adjacent to the time for the Comsc-100 lecture!
Here are the times that the L-building computer lab is supervised by a CS professor and available for "lab by arrangment", for fall 2009:

Record your time
Students are responsible for spending a total of 60 minutes per week in the lab during one or more of these times. Students MUST type their 7-digit student ID into the kiosk when they beging and end their visit to the lab. The kiosk is the computer near the printer pay station -- it's to your right as you enter the lab area from outside. It looks like this:

If the screen is black, move the mouse to get it to turn on. Type your ID and press ENTER when you start your session, and repeat when you end your session. At the time you sign out in this manner, you will see an accounting of your time for the semester on the screen.
