EXPRESS COUNSELING: Express Counseling provides a way for you to see a counselor to get a quick answer to a quick question -one that can be covered in 7 to 10 minutes. If you need to plan out what classes to take or review your transcripts, you will need to schedule a 30 minute appointment.
Records from other colleges are not available for this type of session. The Express Counseling schedule posted in the Counseling Center for an up-to-date listing of available times.
E-Mail Counseling: We welcome your questions. E-mail questions should be short and pertain to academic advising issues only. This format should not be used to ask a counselor to identify which classes a student should take for a semester. Occasionally, we may respond to your question with the following statement, "Please make a Counseling appointment". This is because the question is most likely complex and may require detailed background information, research, and/or counselor assistance. Transcript evaluation, career and personal counseling are not available on-line. Please make a counseling appointment for assistance with these issues.
The address for e-mail counseling is eadvisor@dvc.edu
