Student clubs and activities at Diablo Valley College are student initiated and run. The student club program on the Diablo Valley campus is an integral part of DVC's educational program. It gives students opportunities to develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills that will benefit the student while at DVC, and in their future. Students learn to organize, to work with others, pursue special interests, and make friends.
Club membership is open to all Diablo Valley College students regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin or physical limitations. All clubs have mail boxes in the Margaret Lesher Student Union Building. Messages may be left for club officers in their mailboxes. You can take a look at the club list to see the variety of clubs that will be active this semester. Meetings are open to all students. Check one out!

As returning clubs are approved for the spring semester, we will post their meeting time and location on the bulletin board inside the Student Union Building and club list webpage. Attend club meetings or check out the Student Life calendar to view club activities planned for the semester. Check back often as events may be added/updated weekly!
If you are interested in learning more about DVC's clubs or joining a club, then come to a Club Day! A variety of clubs will be tabling on these days to share information about their clubs. Club days will happen on February 11th and 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Plaza area. Stay tuned for additional Club Days throughout the spring semester. Please check with the Student Life Office or Inter Club Council for those dates.
The deadline for renewing a returning club is Monday, January 27, 2014. Any existing club wishing to return for the spring 2014 semester is required to submit a "Club Renewal" form along with a signed advisor agreement by 4 p.m. on January 27th. Please remember: the earlier you submit your renewal packet, the sooner your club can begin meeting. All renewal packets must be submitted to the Student Life Office by the deadline, either in person or via email to email@example.com.
Interested in starting a club that you feel would benefit the student body that is not already being offered? Great! Click here for details on steps to start a new club at DVC, and be sure to attend a mandatory "Starting a New Club" workshop early in the spring!
Club activities are an important part of the club program, and for the campus as a whole. The Student Life Office wants to support you in making all of your events as successful as possible. A key aspect of this support is in the pre-planning! With this in mind, the Student Life Office has enhanced the events initiation process. Last fall a new form was implemented: the 'Activity Proposal Memo'. To help the Student Life Staff best assist clubs with activities. If you have questions with the form, or with the planning of your activity, please contact the Student Life Office.
The ICC meetings are every Thursday from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Student Union Conference Room. The first ICC meeting for spring 2014 will be held on February 6th. All clubs MUST have an ICC Representative attend the meeting. The meetings are open to the public.
