Earn Units for Learning while Working!
This unique course is designed for the working student and allows you to earn up to four units of credit for learning that takes place on your paid or unpaid (volunteer position or internship) job.
Cooperative Education is an academic course where the student learns in an off-campus "classroom." The knowledge is gained through hands-on experience at the job site.

Co-op credits transfer to many California State Universities
Co-op credits may be used as electives for the Associate degrees
Co-op credits may be required or used as electives for certain certificate programs
Provides an opportunity for achieving new learning on the job by defining objectives/goals

Improves communication skills with supervisor through increased dialogue and interaction

Co-op courses are letter grade only and applies toward your GPA.
