Assessment test schedule
Fall 2009

Math, chemistry and CELSA only
No English test until further notice

In order to complete the assessment test you must have each of the following:

  1. A Diablo Valley College application on file with the Admissions Office and Records Office.
  2. Your DVC student ID number
  3. You must show a form of Photo Identification
    4. i.e. Drivers License or Student ID to take the test.

Show up on one of the following test dates.
Appointment or sign up is not necessary.
Please be on time and a photo ID is required.
Testing begins promptly on the hour.

Wednesday, October 14

3:30–6 p.m.

Wednesday, October 28

3:30–6 p.m.

Please visit www.dvc.edu/assessment for additional test dates and times

1st hour:

ESL or chemistry (student selects one)

2nd hour:

Math -- Calculators are not allowed
Math test - 45 minutes for versions 2, 3, and 4
Math test - 60 minutes for version 5


Test results — will be available in about 10 working days. You will be notified by email when results are ready for pick up.

Math assessment sample tests are available for you to pick up in the kiosk located next to SRVC Admissions Office, West Building, Suite 109.

 

Our retest policy is as follows:

Chemistry

Twice per semester

Each test level ONCE per year (once per 365 days)

Once per semester
