| Novel Influenza A (H1N1) Update |
While the threat of school closure due to the N1H1 flu virus seems very unlikely at this point. It is important that we all take personal responsibility to slow the spread of this virus, and keep it away from our DVC community. Students and staff are reminded to frequently wash their hands and use hand sanitizers whenever possible, especially before and after being in direct contact with others. The DVC custodial staff has installed 30 hand sanitizer dispensers throughout campus and will continue to install more over the next few days. The CDC has recently posted an important new guidance for public gatherings, which are particularly relevant to our upcoming graduation ceremony and celebration: For more information, visit: www.dvc.edu/news/swine-flu/influenza-update.htm
