| This course addresses the history and philosophy of justice as it evolved throughout the world. It addresses in detail a) the American system of justice and the various sub-systems, i.e. the police, the courts, corrections, etc. b) the roles and interrelationships of criminal justice agencies c) concepts of crime accusations, punishments, and rehabilitation and d) issues pertaining to ethics, education and training for participants in the criminal justice system.
