| This non-majors biology course surveys the natural history of ecological communities in Northern California. Conservation of our natural resources is stressed. Frequent guided field labs emphasize: identification methods for native plants and animals; the ecology of the local communities; evolutionary adaptations and the influences of geological and meteorological phenomena on those communities.
