| This course addresses the history and philosophy of justice as it evolved throughout the world. It addresses in detail: a) the American system of justice and the various sub-systems, i.e. the police, the courts, corrections, etc.; b) the roles and interrelationships of criminal justice agencies; c) concepts of crime causations, punishments, and rehabilitation; and d) issues pertaining to ethics, education and training for participants in the criminal justice system.
