Relations with Schools
Welcome
to Diablo Valley College! The Relations With Schools Office is here to serve
you!
The Relations With Schools Office serves three main functions: (1) To
develop and coordinate outreach programs with schools and community groups;
(2) To provide leadership for articulation with K-12 schools; and (3)
To coordinate efforts of existing college programs and develop new programs
that focus on at-risk, under-represented and under-prepared students.
- We
value our ability to support students in achieving their academic goals
and in enriching their College experience through quality cooperative
programs and advocacy.
- We
provide information to prospective, new and continuing students through
direct personal service and various communication media.
- We
enhance services to students and their families by developing resources
and relationships with parents, the College, and the community.
- We
develop student leadership through co-curricular programming and student
activities guidance.
