DVC offers more than 40 A.A. and A.S. degrees, more than 40 certificates of accomplishment,
and a wide selection of certificates of achievement. See all of our degree and certificate programs.
Then, after you apply, check your Insite page.
Insite is your student portal where you will do a lot of your college business including
registering and paying for classes, checking your InSite mail, check your class schedule
and much more. Contact the Admissions and Records Office if you did not receive a
date and time to register.

If you want to take a class that has a prerequisite requirement you may need to fill
out the prerequisite equivalency form. Visit the Counseling Center for assistance.

There are a wide variety of classes that are taught online only or partly online.
Check out the spring schedule, and choose "Online" under #3.

Now available on Insite, the student planning tool is our new online self-service tool to help you create a roadmap to your goals and
build your education plan.
Can't decide on a class to add to your schedule?
Registration for classes after the course begins is on a space-available basis and
will require a late add code or instructor signature. Students may use a late add
code to register online.
- Online registration is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Students may register anytime on or after their appointment date and time up until
midnight the day before the class section begins.
- Short-term class add/drop dates, refund dates and pass/no-pass dates are calculated
individually by class based on the specific number of meeting days; therefore, these
dates are not included in this calendar.
- Add/drop and refund dates are printed on the class roster.
Registration for spring 2016 classes begins November 30.
December 16 - Online registration by appointment begins for:
- continuing and returning students on probation two or more consecutive semesters or
on dismissal status
- students who complete 100 or more degree applicable units at DVC, LMC, or CCC
January 5 - Online registration by appointment begins for new non-matriculated students
January 5 - AA/AS degree or certificate filing period begins through March 2 (for spring 2016)
January 11 - Open/walk-in registration for all students (except special admit/concurrent high school
January 12 - Begin new and returning special admit/concurrent high school student registration
grades 11 and 12
January 15 - Graduation filing period begins for summer 2016 graduates to be considered for early
registration option (file by February 29)
January 18 - Holiday - Martin Luther King Jr. Day - college closed
January 22 - Classes begin
