EOPS Services

The following services are available to eligible students free of cost:

Counseling

  • professional counseling (academic, career, personal)
  • peer advising

Direct financial assistance

  • EOPS study-time grants (budget permitting)
  • work-study assignments (budget permitting)
  • EOPS book vouchers

Note: Book vouchers and grants are awarded based on available funding.

Instructional support services

  • "Student success" workshops (varies by semester, refer to our Calendar of Events page for more information)
  • one-to-one tutoring (up to 2 hours per week/per subject) 

How to request EOPS tutoring services

STEP 1: Go to the EOPS Tutoring Request form

STEP 2: Fill out the form completely and accurately

STEP 3: Please check your DVC InSite Portal Email account regularly to check the status of your request. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the processing of your request.

Four-year college transfer assistance

  • CSU/UC admission application fee waivers
  • assistance with applications and financial aid forms
