Step 1: Selecting Courses
You should meet with a DVC counselor on a regular basis. Once you've met
with a counselor, you should have a good idea of what courses you need to
take for your degree, certificate or to transfer to another college or
university. More information can be found about DVC courses in the catalog,
available at the Book
Center or online.
You should select courses that will advance
your college goals.
Step 2: Registering for Courses
Once you have chosen your ideal course schedule for the term, it is a good
idea to have a backup plan in case some of the courses you want are filled.
Be prepared to be flexible.
Follow the instructions for registration
located in the schedule of courses booklet or review online through
Admissions
registration procedures then register
online or by
telephone. For
more information contact the Admissions
office.
Step 3: Fees
Fees can be paid by check, cash or credit card at the time of
registration. Students registering by phone may use a Visa or MasterCard to
pay fees. For more information on fees see the schedule of courses booklet,
or visit the Admission Web site.
