Can't decide on a class to add to your schedule?

DVC offers more than 40 A.A. and A.S. degrees, more than 40 certificates of accomplishment, and a wide selection of certificates of achievement to get you ready to transfer to a four-year college or land a great job. See all of our Degrees and Certificates

If you want to take a class that has a prerequisite requirement you may need to fill out the prerequisite equivalency form. Visit the Counseling Center for assistance.

* Online registration is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

** Summer term class add/drop, refund, and pass/no-pass dates are calculated individually by class based on the specific number of meeting days. The add/drop and refund dates are listed on the class roster. Check with the instructor. You may also go to Insite/Webadvisor -> registration -> My Class Schedule for drop and refund dates. The dates are listed under the "Last Date to Drop" column.
  • Final exams are scheduled by instructors and are generally held during the last class.
  • Students may register anytime on or after their appointment date and time up until midnight the day before the class section begins.
  • Registration for classes after the course begins is on a space-available basis and will require a late add code or instructor signature.
  • Students may use a late add code to register online.
  • Students register at the admissions counter with an instructor signature.

  • students who completed 100 or more degree applicable units at DVC, LMC, or CCC.
  • new students who have not completed online orientation, assessment and educational planning/Couns 095  (non-matriculated)
  • new and returning special admit/concurrent high school students registration 
 grades 11 and 12.
August 1 Open walk-in registration for all students 
August 11 Semester begins - check specific class listings for Saturday and Sunday classes. Start dates may vary.
August 11-25 Late enrollment - space available basis. Register online with late add code or register in-person with signature of instructor or late add code*
