Mission Statement

Working in close collaboration with faculty and other student services, Diablo Valley College Tutoring Services assists students to identify strategies for improving learning and increasing academic performance. This is conducted in a relaxed, constructive atmosphere of learning using a variety of tutoring techniques tailored to each student’s individual learning style. The ultimate goal is to inspire students to become confident, independent learners prepared to face the challenges of the modern world.
