Drama Courses and Class Schedule

Drama courses

If you enroll in the Drama Program, you can expect to take a variety of courses that will prepare you for your chosen career path. These classes range from Stage Makeup to Auditioning Techniques.

To see a complete list of the required courses, view our catalog.

Drama students have the opportunity to audition for four productions per year. These include a musical and one student directed play. Participating students will get hands-on experience in all aspects of theater production. There are many additional performance opportunities throughout the year in our drama club, Dramatic Society and course showcases.

Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF)

Every year, students from the Drama Program attend the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) where you can compete for scholarships and connect with four-year programs and conservatories.

Priority is given to students who have taken core drama and specialty classes, students who are involved in productions, and students who receive Irene Ryan nominations or Meritorious Awards.
